In Loving Memory Of Kimberly Joktan

Tribute
Kimberly Joktan (NEE Borsheim) was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan to Leonard & Violet Borsheim. She passed away peacefully in her sleep, in Penticton, with her family at her side.
When Kimberly was two years old, her parents joined the many pioneering families moving to the Peace River Country. They settled near Grande Prairie, Alberta and she and her six siblings grew up there, on the farm. In 1964, Kimberly married Mike Joktan and they raised three children on their farm near Sexsmith, Alberta.
After the children were grown and Kimberly was left a widow, she moved to Edmonton, Alberta and studied to be an LPN. She worked in the Royal Alexandra hospital in Edmonton for many years. In 2010, she moved to Penticton to be closer to her family. She was predeceased by her brother Lorne and sister Margaret.
Kimberly will be sadly missed by her three children; Lorna, Bryan and Rhonda; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a large and loving extended family.
A Celebration of Kimberly’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Penticton United Church, 696 Main St, Penticton BC V2A 5C8. Kimberly’s ashes will be interned in the Penticton Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.
