Tribute
Sydney Goodwin was a man of great moral character. He felt that hard work and honesty were the building blocks for a good life – and it worked for him!
He was a quiet, serious man, but spoke up for anyone that wasn’t being treated fairly – he would always stick up for the underdog. Syd loved music, played the guitar and had a beautiful baritone voice. As quiet as he was, he truly enjoyed jamming with friends and entertaining a group.
Syd was an avid volunteer in several organizations, as well, he happily volunteered to shovel driveways and give rides to people to medical appointments, whenever he was available.
Although Syd never married, he was never alone. Whether it was a good game of cribbage, jamming, bocce or watching sports – his buddies were always nearby.
Rest in peace, buddy – we will never forget you!
